November 30, 2013On November 18, Markus of Philadelphia's 93.3 WMMR radio station conducted an interview with A PERFECT CIRCLE guitarist Billy Howerdel. You can now listen to the chat using the audio player below.
2,500 A PERFECT CIRCLE fans were very happy on Tuesday (November 26),when the band's massive concert boxed set, called "A Perfect Circle Live: Featuring Stone And Echo", was released. Only 2,500 copies of the limited edition collection were pressed and have been long sold out, although the group is making the music available digitally. The Pulse Of Radio asked Howerdel if it's possible the band might manufacture more physical copies as well. "There's no plans to right now," he said. "We are releasing it digitally. You know, maybe there's some kind of special thing in the future, but right now there's, that was it. For that particular package, it was just gonna be 2,500 signed copies and that's it."
The package includes "Stone And Echo", a full-length concert DVD/CD featuring the band's August 11, 2011 performance at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, as well as "Trifecta", a multi-disc collection containing the band's complete discography — "Mer De Noms", "Thirteenth Step" and "eMOTIVe" — recorded live during a five-city run of three-night, full-album performances in 2010.
Also included as bonus tracks are live versions of the new song "By And Down", the group's cover of DAVID BOWIE's "Ashes To Ashes" and "Diary Of A Lovesong", a mash-up of THE CURE's "Love Song" and OZZY OSBOURNE's "Diary Of A Madman".
Five hand-selected lithographs, with one autographed by Howerdel and singer Maynard James Keenan, a custom-sculpted resin frame designed by the band and a custom-made guitar pick designed by Howerdel are also included in the custom-made media book packaging.
A PERFECT CIRCLE also released a greatest hits package last week called "Three Sixty" in both standard and deluxe formats. It contains the exclusive studio version of "By And Down" as well as popular tracks from all three of the band's previous studio efforts.
